I am trying to get better about letting you all know who I am and what you will find here so I am just going to take this opportunity to chat about, well, me.
I started writing in my early teens as a coping mechanism for my depression and it is a theme that has continued until now. I have always wanted to be a full time writer but I never had the courage until last year when my battle with depression made me decide that life is too short to do anything other than the things that spark an inner fire. For me, that’s writing and story telling and all the other things I bask in the joy of which I share on Rebel Housewife and on any site that will take my words. So, I kinda just wanna see what happens when I try.
My page is a place where I share about my struggles with motherhood and mental illness and encourage people to find joy in the ordinary or as I like to say all.the.time. find the magic in the mundane because I truly believe that those are the moments that matter most. And sometimes, my sarcastic side comes out because I think I’m funny and I like making other people laugh.
Basically, I hope to inspire other mothers and women who find themselves in similar situations to keep going despite the pain and that it is okay to laugh along the way.
