Well, this Monday is off to what I would call a shitty start which is weird because initially, at 5 am, I would have sung a different tune. That is to say it was off to a great start.
I woke up, had some pipin’ hot coffee with a pre-made Otis Spunkmeyer blueberry muffin on the side and even got in a good half an hour of a yoga session.
Yum times three.
But I live in the real world where things are constantly changing and I must adapt at the drop of a hat or whatever the expression of something dropping fast is.
By 5:45 am, we had the awareness that we woke up to a flat tire and to top that off we woke up a refusing to get ready – “I’m not going to school” – “You hate me” – “I hate you” – “You are the worst mother ever” screaming child so that was fun.
As I sit here typing this I am happy to report that the kids all made it onto or into their respective school buses and my husband is actively working on fixing a randomly flat tire, that was just replaced by the way, so this seems as good a time as any to share googly eyed Milo pictures.

You’re welcome.
Anyway, I am working on blogs with some actual substance and not just thirst traps so I’ll keep building the suspense on those and in the meantime I hope your Monday is off to a manageable start and if it’s not…
…I see you, friend. And in the words of Glennon Doyle: “We can do hard things.”
